Established in 1992, Westpack designs and manufactures protective industrial packaging materials for durable goods industries including furniture, automotive, metal fabrication and plastic fabrication. Westpack sets itself apart from many packaging companies by focusing on low- to medium-volume production runs using a variety of materials including corrugated, foam, honeycomb and plastic. The Westpack system is designed to cut customer costs along with materials, damage and labor optimization. Dale Deveau founded the company when he saw opportunities to better serve small customers. Westpack’s design abilities and specialized and modified equipment give it a market niche that offers complete, cradle-to-grave packaging services that have maximized Westpack’s value to customers.
Rich Wilson brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the packaging industry as well as five years in the urethane foam industry. Rich has had sales, design and operational roles at multiple levels in both large international companies as well as smaller local companies. Through these experiences he has contacts and relationships with both suppliers and customers not only within West Michigan but on a regional and national level as well.
